CEO & President
Louis Darrouzet is a father Leader, Businessman, Engineer, Operator, and Entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of the Metroplex Civic & Charitable Foundation (MCCF) and the Metroplex Civic & Business Association (MCBA), organizations created to ensure the continued success of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. He has founded and run multiple other organizations including Social Hire LLC, Umbrella Sports Inc., and Rucola Ventures LLC.
Louis is originally from Dallas, Texas. There, he attended Jesuit and received the “Man for Others’ award in 2001. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as his Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. The Beginning of his career was spent as an engineer and in operations management for Formosa Plastics, Bridgestone Firestone, Valspar, and General Chemical.
Before his current role with the MCCF and MCBA, Louis had developed and managed a $265+ million contract sales portfolio for Keurig Dr Pepper. In 2015 Louis was appointed to the South Dallas/Fair Park Trust Fund Board by Jennifer Staubach Gates and served the City of Dallas until 2017 as the Chair of the Loan Subcommittee.
His board background and work experience provide perspectives on the challenges many industries and communities face across DFW.

Head of Programming
Matt Parkin currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Asset Management at Bank OZK, where he spearheads strategic initiatives to optimize asset performance. Matt also holds the pivotal role of Head of Programming at the Metroplex Civic and Charitable Foundation, driving impactful community engagement projects. Previously, Matt honed his expertise as a Commercial Underwriting Officer at Veritex Bank.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Matt’s journey epitomizes resilience and determination. While pursuing his degree, he also dedicated time to coaching an all-girl cheerleading squad, showcasing his commitment leadership and community building. As a first-generation college student, Matt’s relentless drive to excel in a fast-paced world has been the driving force behind his success.
With a passion for exploration, Matt has embarked on numerous international travels, enriching his perspective and fostering a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. As he continues to navigate the dynamic landscape of finance and community development, Matt remains steadfast in his mission to make a meaningful impact and inspire positive change.
